Rustin Sage is the current champion of Merriston who declined The Rogue Knights challenges to fight. In return The Rogue Knight robbed travelers coming to and from Merriston so that Rustin Sage would give in to the challenge. However it was the Dreadknight who accepted the Rogue Knights challenge in Edgemont. After the duel, Rustin Sage rallied his men and some legionaries to arrest The Rogue Knight. It is unclear if Rustin Sage died in the battle.
